Palos Verdes, California resident Estonian artist Aapo Pukk received the Grand Prize for his oil painting entry in the “People and Figures” competition (# 76 December 2010/ January 2011). International Artist Magazine is distributed in 21 countries and is voted the best artist magazine in the world.

My subject is a mime. An actor from the street of Venice in Italy. He is standing inside an improvised column that is really a veneer box, imitating marble.
Every artist would like to have this kind of a portrait painting story.
