Aapo Pukk will showcase his new portraits and landscapes at Malaga Cove Library Art Gallery.

Award-winning artist Aapo Pukk, a South Bay resident, will showcase his landscapes and portraits in Malaga Cove Library Art Gallery from December 5, 2009 trough January,8 2010. Exhibition opening Saturday, December 5 from 1-4 pm.
 
 
 
 
 
An opening highlight will be a “PORTRAIT LOTTERY” for one lucky winner to win a valuable pastel portrait. The winner will be announced at 2:00 p.m. and the painting, by demonstration, will begin immediately. Complimentary refreshments and classical music by pianist Dr. James Hurd.

 

Artist Aapo Pukk is a master painter of portraits and landscapes. Born and educated in Northern Europe, he has travelled extensively painting landscapes and portraits of ordinary people and dignitaries alike. His landscapes are fluid, filled with light and emotion. At this exhibit one can enjoy views from Greece, Italy, England, Estonia, Norway and Sweden. His portraits are exquisite heirlooms for future generations. This exhibition is a wonderful opportunity to see and purchase familiar views of Europe such as the Acropolis in Athens, Greece; St. Mark’s Square in Venice Italy; Trafalgar Square in London; Mountains of Northern Norway and Medieval Old Tallinn, Estonia.
