Dear Aapo,

Thank you for your entry into theMember’s Only Competition. The response to our competition was excellent. This year we accepted entries in the following categories: Self Portrait, Nude, Commissioned Portrait, Non-Commissioned Portrait and Outside the Box.

The submissions were outstanding, varied and inspirational. The judging was challenging, and with over 760 entries, with many excellent works of art, which is encouraging for the profession of portrait painting.  Congratulations on being one of the winning entries selected. It was difficult to select top winners in each category. 

I wanted to write and personally congratulate you on your 2nd Place in the Non-commissioned Portrait category and Honorable Mention (8) in the Outside the Box category..

The  mission of the Portrait Society is to promote fine art portraiture and figurative works. One way we can fulfill this mission is by sharing with the public the best examples of work being created today.  We will be posting all the winners on our Facebook page, the top 5 winners on our website and in the next issue of the Journal, and sending press releases to a variety of print publications.

Your support of our programs and services makes a difference, and we appreciate you taking your time to enter theMember’s Only Competition.  Congratulations and thank you again for your continued support and involvement with the Portrait Society.
